San Sebastian Cathedral’s the construction of the church in 1876 was initiated by the recollected Friar Fr. Mauricio Ferrero. It became a cathedral in 1933, its interior is a combined Graeco-Roman and Neo Renaissance Design while the façade is made up of coral stones from nearby Guimaras Island.

The Ruins is what remained of the grand European mansion built by Don Mariano Lacson in honor of his first wife, Maria Braga. The love story behind the mansion has made its reputation as the “Taj Majal” of Negros

Negros Museum is a blend of artwork and artifacts will give you insights into the past,  present and the future of the province. Also called the Sugar Museum, it houses bits, pieces and artifacts that explain how the sugar industry found its way to Negros, became the economic lifeblood, paintings and historical photos.

Capitol Lagoon built in 2008 , the building that now serves as the nerve center of city government services has also become the top spot for locals and tourist who fine the fountain with its esplanade, park, open space and a circle of greenery ideal for family outings, health and wellness activities. Also serves as playground and a venue for major city programs and functions.
